THE RESIDENCES AT BULLE ROCK WINS NATIONAL SALES AND MARKETING COUNCIL AWARD FOR LANDSCAPE DESIGN
HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. (June 12, 2008) − The Residences at Bulle Rock was victorious in the National Sales and Marketing Council’s Nationals SM awards competition: the nation’s largest competition for new-home sales and marketing professionals and communities.
Awards were presented during the National Association of Home Builders’ International Builders’ Show in Orlando. The Residences at Bulle Rock received the Regional Award for Best Landscape Design for a Detached Community.
Land planned by Morris Ritchie & Associates, Inc., the resort-style community was cited for “utilizing existing topography, maximizing views and planning builder streetscapes to integrate existing natural and manmade elements into the overall land design and marketing presentation.”
Furthermore, “high color and high impact landscape design created a lasting first impression at marketing entryways. Alternate use of low maintenance planting off the main thoroughfare allowed for balance in the budget process. The result is an efficient and cost effective way to present the past and the historic nature of the site as well as the developers’ and residents vision for the future.”
“It is an honor to continue to be recognized for superior attention to detail and concern for the surrounding environment,” said Brenda Desjardins, a spokeswoman for The Residences at Bulle Rock, noting that the community was named 2007 Project of the Year by the Land Development Council (LDC) of the Home Builders Association of Maryland (HBAM).
With the slogan, “Life Imitates Vacation,” The Residences at Bulle Rock is being built in Havre de Grace, Md. around the five-star Bulle Rock Golf Course: home of the McDonald’s LPGA Championship and Maryland’s #1 public golf course.
Under development by Manekin, LLC, Clark Turner and H&S Properties Development Corporation, the community will comprise approximately 2,200 single-family, villa and condominium homes built by Clark Turner Signature Homes, D.R. Horton, NVHomes, Ryan Homes and Ryland Homes. All homes will feature first-floor owners’ suites, open floorplans, vaulted ceiling, garages and additional amenities for luxury living.
The community’s social and recreational centerpiece is the 37,000-square-foot Residents’ Club, which features indoor and outdoor pools, a cardiovascular health and wellness center, tennis and bocce courts, a cyber café and much more.
